Alangdeo, Jcel Annerose P.; Copero, Fernel C.; Tuazon, Denzel A.
The occurrence of a paradigm shifts from input-based learning to outcomes-based education resulted in a lot of adjustments. One of which is the transition from a teacher-centered focus to a learner-centered environment. The research aims to determine the relationship between the academic performance of nurse learners of BSU-CN and the teaching competency of the facilitators in the OBE era. The research utilized a quantitative descriptive correlational study. Questionnaires were administered to 590 nurse learner respondents from levels 1 to 4, males and females. To determine the relationship of perceived academic performance and perceived teaching competency, Pearson product-moment correlation was used. The perceived academic performance and perceived teaching competency of nurse learners of Benguet State University is 3.16 (very satisfactory) and 3.48 (very high competency), respectively. There is no association of perceived academic performance and teaching competency according to sex. On the other hand, there is an association of perceived academic performance and teaching competency according to year level. There is a strong significant relationship between the perceived academic performance of nurse learners and their perceived teaching competency of course facilitators of Benguet State University. The researchers recommend using the questionnaire as a standardized tool to evaluate academic performance and teaching competency.

Making academics the top priority can harm relationships. Likewise, putting relationships ahead of studies can negatively impact a student's overall performance in learning. Therefore,finding the ideal balance between personal life and academics is essential. This study aims to determine the study-life balance of nurse learners at Benguet State University. It determines how study-life balance varies based on sex, year level, living arrangement, and academic standing.&#13;
The study utilized a descriptive-correlational design employing a quantitative survey design. 578 nurse learners from levels one to four were the study respondents. Weighted mean, independent samples T-test, ANOVA, and linear regression analysis were used to analyze and interpret the data.&#13;
Based on the findings, the nurse learners exhibit a low study-life balance, as evidenced by&#13;
an overall mean score of 2.44, indicating a widespread struggle among students. The investigation also revealed a significant difference in the study-life balance of nurse learners when grouped according to sex. Similarly, the finding suggests an association with nurse learners' study-life balance when grouped by year level. While regression analysis identified sex as a statistically significant predictor, the weak impact indicates that other factors likely play a more substantial role in influencing the study-life balance of nurse learners.

<description>Comprehensive Sex Education Integration and Their Effectiveness in Public Secondary Schools in Baguio and La Trinidad
Binaliw, Ruth L.; Briones, Stephanie Xiao Xi D.; Cabradilla, Marybeth M.; Casilio, CJ Christene T.; Culas, Johann Moana M.; Dela Cruz, Dana Khloe T.
Comprehensive Sex Education (CSE) aims to equip students with essential knowledge and skills, but its integration varies widely in public schools, leading to inconsistent information being taught. Thus, this study aims to identify prevalent CSE topics integrated across public secondary schools in Baguio and La Trinidad and assess their effectiveness. This study employed a comparative correlational design and a quantitative survey, where stratified random sampling was utilized to select respondents. Data interpretation involved statistical treatments such as mean, T-test, F-test, and Pearson Correlation Coefficient.	&#13;
Study findings revealed that personhood, values, and personal safety were highly integrated, while sexual and reproductive health, sexuality, and sexual behaviors were less integrated. Male educators and those integrators with 2-3 years of experience effectively integrated these topics, whilst the number of training sessions did not significantly affect the effectiveness. Integration into core subjects is proven to be more effective. Lastly, frequent CSE integration was highly associated with better effectiveness.&#13;
Therefore, gradual introduction on sexual and reproductive health topics and exploring CSE integrators’ perspectives are highly encouraged. Also, implementation of targeted mentorships for new educators and evaluation of CSE integration every three years must take place.

The study utilized a quantitative approach specifically, a descriptive survey to accomplish the objectives of the study. Purposive sampling was utilized to obtain the target population. The population of this study are the alumni of the Benguet State University-College of Nursing, from batch 1994 to 2017. Data collection primarily utilized Google Forms. Disseminated and subjected to qualitative analysis, specifically through categorical frequency distribution.&#13;
Among the 104 respondents, thirty- seven notable positions were identified, with 29 within healthcare and 8 outside healthcare. In the healthcare field, 17 positions were previously held, and 12 are current, including roles like college dean, associate dean, advanced nurse practitioner, and nurse manager.
