Information for Authors

All articles must be a result of research and should not have been published elsewhere. By submitting the article to this journal, it is understood that the author gives the exclusive rights to the publisher to reproduce and distribute the article. All articles are uploaded to the MJSIR website and available under open access.

You may submit through the BSU open journal system (OJS) with your account (Register here) or email the  research article directly to the email for uploading to the OJS.

The article is printed following the MJSIR Form and Style. Use the MJSIR Template for easier formatting of your manuscript.

Authors are encouraged to create their Open Researcher and Contributor Identification (ORCID) since all articles published on the MJSIR are available on the Open Journal System of BSU. Include your ORCID under your name in the research article.

MJSIR follows a double-blind review process.

Submitted research articles that have been reviewed by the Editor-in-Chief (EIC) and/or the Editorial Board and that conform to the editorial and publication policies of MJSIR will be forwarded to internal and external reviewer/s for evaluation.

Comments and suggestions of the reviewers based on the evaluation forms are summarized and returned to the author.

Articles are reviewed by at least one internal and one external reviewer. The EIC and/or the Editorial Board decides whether or not the article needs further review by another reviewer.

The review process entails constant correspondence between the author and the REPO through emails and personal discussions.

The final article of the author after the incorporations of revisions from the internal and external reviews, will be proofread and layout for publishing in the journal.

The printed copy of the journal will be distributed to the author and the articles will be uploaded to the BSU OJS within 2 weeks after the release of the print copy.

The editing and review process from submission to acceptance and publishing takes around 2 to 3 months.
