As part of the Veterinary Medicine Week celebration, the BSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital will render free fecal  examination (for deworming purposes) and anti-rabies vaccination for cats and dogs on February 20-23, 2017. To avail of the free services, pets should be at least three months old, healthy and not pregnant. Hospital hours for the free services start at 9:00 AM-12:00 NN and 1:00 PM-4:00 PM,

Likewise, an exhibit will be open to visitors from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The exhibit features exotic pets and the anatomy and parasitology laboratories.

An Invitation from the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP):

Greetings from the Academy! 
The Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) in collaboration with the Asian Productivity Organization (APO), an inter-governmental organization in the Asia-Pacific region, will be conducting the e-Learning Course on Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) for Greater Market Access on 04-07 November 2015 at the DAP Building, San Miguel Avenue, Ortigas Center, Pasig City. 

The four-day interactive learning course aims to enhance participants’ understanding of the benefits and importance of GAP for increasing access of agrifood products to international and niche markets and also to know internationally recognized GAP standards. 

Target participants include officers or consultants of research and training institutes, professional staff of quality assurance/certification bodies, members of the academe, agricultural extension workers, farm owners and/or managers, retailers and exporters of agricultural products, and personnel who are involved in planning, development, implementation, and promotion of GAP and GLOBALGAP. Participants from APO-member countries namely – Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam and Philippines will have the opportunity to learn from online/interactive lecture by the APO international experts. Aside from lectures from international and local experts, a field exposure visit in a GAP-certified farm is also included to further enhance the learning experience of the participants.
